He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Cora Brown (Alexander); the mother of his children Maggie Brown; his son Clifford Brown; his grandson Cedric Brown; and his siblings, Bernice Starr, Murial Ray, Lewis Brown, Lawrence Brown, Lillian Titus, Willie Brown, Edward Brown and Thelma Green.
He is survived by: his children, Brezeairlu Brown (Evelyn Jean), Delores Swayne (Jerry) and Patricia Brown; his daughter-in-law Maryann Brown; his sister Suzarne Prescott; and his grandchildren, Brian Swayne (Nicole), Paul Brown (Katrina), Donna Evans (Mark), Brandon Swayne and Karen Demory (Aaron). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
He relocated to Columbus about six years ago during the Covid-19 Pandemic to be closer to his immediate family during those very uncertain times.
