He was predeceased by: his mother Levonia Prowell; his brothers, Courtney Prowell, Vincent Prowell and Eric Prowell; and his grandson Vincent Stanley (Prowell).
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Prowell; his children, Nitche Prowell Nikkeya Prowell, Bianca Prowell, BeTina Prowell, Bruce Prowell Jr., Bosston Prowell, Byrstee Prowell, Trelissa Body, Kelly Redd and Kenet Lindsey; his sister-in-law Carla Burkes; his nephew Nathaniel "Nate" Burkes; his close friend Elmer "Moe" Mahone; and his siblings, Irvin Prowell, Veniece Farrak and Arlene Hunt. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
