He was predeceased by: his wife Retha (Billie); his daughter Suzy; and his parents, Bruce A. Shepard and Francis Sturgis Shepard. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Vicars (James), Sharon Francis (Dan) and Jamie Clapsaddle (Alan); his grandchildren, Joshua Wasmus (Justine), Jeremiah Wasmus (Sarah), Robert Wasmus (Teddy), Richard Wasmus (Vanessa), Livia Shepard (Jai) and Gabriel Shepard; and his brother Allen Thompson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
