She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Smith-Sauls and Dave Lightner. She is survived by: her husband Alan Ackerman; her son Steve McClain; her daughter-in-law Melissa McClain; her daughter Katie Gunn; her grandchildren, McKenzie McClain, Allie Gunn, Lincoln Gunn and Logan Gunn; and her sisters, Pam Smith-Wemlinger and Cynthia Haston-Parker.
