We bid farewell to Carolyn Chavanne of Columbus, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Carolyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carolyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laoma Wilson and Horace Wilson; and her siblings, Jean Carpenter, Lois LaWarre and David Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Chavanne; her daughters, Suzanne and Michelle; her grandson Zachary; and her sister Diane Craver (Tom). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in support of animals' or women's rights- causes close to Carolyn's heart.
