He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tate and Virginia Tate (Backus); and his brother Michael Tate. He is survived by: his wife Linda Tate; his daughter Jamie Snedeker (Ben); his grandson Aiden Snedeker; and his brothers, Homer "Bub" Tate and Larry Tate.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Northeast Chapel (3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
