With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cary Klein of Columbus, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Klein and Shirley Klein; his grandparents, Roy, Agnes Klein, Luther and Hilda Brooks; and his stepgrandfather David Tyson.
He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Shanks Carlisle (Chad); his grandchildren, Redd and Guy of Los Angeles, CA; his brothers, Curt Klein (Sharon) of Bloomingdale, OH, Craig Klein (Cindy) of Peoria, AZ and Kevin Klein (Rina) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; his nieces, Kelli Banfield (Todd) of Bloomingdale and Kacey Moore (Stevie) of Steubenville; and his nephew Nathan of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
