We are sad to announce that, on November 16, 2025, at the age of 87, Cecil LUCIAN Howard of Columbus, Ohio, born in Cambridge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosetta Howard and Eddie Howard; his former wife Ethel Howard; and his siblings, Ruth Bristol (William) and Johnny Harris (Lena).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Howard; his children, Michael and Venus Howard; his grandson Troy Howard; his stepchildren, Julie Person, Lisa Tate and Alfred David Tate II (Kathy); his stepgrandsons, Ashton Brean Goins, Adriel Bayan Goins and Alfred Drew Tate III; his sister Ella Lewis (Jason); and his nephew Kevin Gordon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
On March 3, 2017, he was honored with a Certificate of Service for his distinguished contributions to the United States Army.
