It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Virginia Williams-Smith of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas N. Rogers and Edna Rogers (Aldred); her husband Reuben O. Smith; her daughter Lynn J. Williams; her siblings, Thomas "Sonny" Rogers Jr., Mary Howard, Shirley Turner, Carolyn Jenkins and Roy Rogers; and her stepson Darryll Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Cherry (Mark), Anthony Williams, Shelby Banton (Michael) and Hugh Williams; her stepson Terry Smith (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Santana, Levonn, Jason, Candice, LeShawn, Leanne and Lequan. She is also survived by 13 step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
