He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles and Lenora; his wife Judith Britt (Weis); his children, Charles J. II (Chad), Patrick (Kimberly), Cheryl Rice (Thomas), Sean and Kristin Manring (Gary); his grandchildren, Anthony (Katie), Philip (Elise), Joseph, Erin, Ryan (Lydia), Lauren, Charlie and Camille; and his siblings, James Britt, Dolores Britt and Jeanine Burns. He was also cherished by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church or the Bishop Griffin Center.
