He was predeceased by: his son David; his parents, Charles and Anne; and his siblings, Frank, Mary, Anne and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Swanick (Micik); his children, Charles Swanick, CarolAnn Snyder (Mark), William Swanick (Barbara) and Cathy Buehrer (Stephen); his grandchildren, Joshua Snyder, Phoebe Snyder, Amber Swanick, Benjamin Buehrer, Simon Buehrer and Daniel Buehrer; his sister-in-law Joann Woy (Rodger); and his niece Kristin Micik.
