She was predeceased by: her parents, German and Hedwig Aupperle (Haas); her brother Eric; her sister-in-law Nancy Aupperle; her sister Gertrude (Trudy); and her brother-in-law Irving Salmeen.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas; and her children, Erica and Craig (Jennifer).
Shortly thereafter she moved to New York City where she worked as a secretary at the Rockefeller Foundation.
