Though Christine Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Christine Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Christian Kornman and Mildred Rarick Kornman. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Birdwell Shortlidge; and her son-in-law Jack Shortlidge. She is also survived by two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to support the work of the Summer Circle Theatre at MSU .
