With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarice Hyland (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on July 18, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Wheeler and Anna Shaw; and her brother John Wheeler. She is survived by: her husband James Hyland; her sons, James, John (Becky), Scott (Jennifer) and Steven Hyland (Lorraine); her grandchildren, Nathan, Nolan (Danielle), Scott (Katherine), Hannah, Brittany, Cameron, Josh, Matthew, Abigail, Briana and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Donovan and Cecilia; and her siblings, Clyde Wheeler and Joan Legnine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“To the Hyland Family, I know your hearts are broken over the loss of one the greatest ladies ever. I loved Clarice so much. To know her, was to love her. She was a dear friend of mine. She took my paint class at the senior center on Wednesday’s. I’m so sorry she is getting gone, but take heart in knowing that she loved Jesus. We talked about Jesus often and she knew him as her LORD. She is in heaven now and we will see her and laugh with her again.”
