He is survived by: his wife Anna Durette; his children, Stephen Durette, Denise Durette-Daskam (Bryan), Lanine Durette-Hall (Joseph) and Claude Durette Jr. (Michelle Hammond); his grandchildren, Marelle Durette-Hall, Manuel Durette and Lena Durette; and his great grandchildren, Rosalie and Remi Simone.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Triumphant Church of God (1282 Whitney Ln, Westerville, OH 43081). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, of your choosing, in memory of Claude J. Durette Sr. to the Triumphant Church of God, the Dementia Society of America or the American Heart Association.
