He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Elliott Sr. and Amanda Elliott. He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Elliott, Janet Elliott, Brenda Phillips and Curnel Jr. Elliott (Turk); his sister Lillian Coliver; the mother of his children Dorcas Elliott; his daughters, Karen and Cynthia; and his son-in-law Earnest Phillips. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren.
