He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Zerkel and Lillie Mae Zerkel; and his siblings, Bill and Sally Shappell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gott Zerkel; his children, Danny Jr. (Shelley) and Deanna Clifford; and his grandchild Yena Zerkel Geoff Plymale.
