In the sacred silence of farewell, Daniel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his wife Kim Dressel; his daughters, Sarah Encinas (Mario), Andrea Dressel and Emma Dressel; his parents, Jim Dressel and Nancy Dressel; and his sisters, Amy Dunlea and Kathy Simonton. He is also survived by his three daughters as well as his daughter.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (455 Clark State Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM at 212 Kelton Ave, Columbus, OH 43205.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to some of the organizations that meant the most to Dan including The Harmony Project (https://harmonyproject.com), The Ian Burkhart Foundation, and The Ability Center - Wisconsin. In addition, because giving blood was a cause close to his heart, and in gratitude for the transfusions that gave him precious time with his loved ones in his final days, the family invites you to honor his memory by donating blood.
