It is with sadness that the passing of Daniel Eugene Francis of Columbus, Ohio is shared. Daniel, born on July 18, 1963, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Daniel will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Daniel by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Daniel is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Daniel’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Marie Francis and Eugene Francis. He is survived by: his wife Karen Francis; his children, Alex Francis (Macy) and Lanie Francis (Steph); and his siblings, Carol Blankenship, Theresa Francis and John Francis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home (403 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan the Navigator Church (4475 Dublin Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Columbus Humane Society in his honor.
