He is survived by: his wife Juanita Travis; his children, Dannetta Lynn Williams (Travis), Ellis Tucker Travis, Cheryl Marie Jones (Travis) and Tony Leonard Travis; and his sisters, Catherine M. Clark and Ella L. Keaton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
