He is survived by: his daughter Connie McIntyre; his daughter-in-law Barbara Enyeart Carruthers; his son Mike Carruthers (Linda); and his grandchildren, Alison, Molly, Elizabeth, Katherine, Colby, Erin and Kyle. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
