He was predeceased by: his parents, Embrey B. Howson and Janet M. Pinch; and his daughter Robyn Howson. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Howson; his brothers, Mark Howson (Roberta) and Greg Howson (Susan); his children, Kara Howson, Jeremy Gunn and Joshua Gunn; and his grandson Cameron Boyer.
