He is survived by: his wife Leona Geraldine "Jerri" Kemmerling; his children, Matthew "Matt" Kemmerling (Angie) and Amy Slabaugh (Wayne Withem); his grandchildren, Ethan Kemmerling, Emma Kemmerling and Justin Slabaugh; his great grandchildren, Bentley Slabaugh and Kali Dougherty; and his siblings, Paul, Pat Kemmerling and Kay Wolfe.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home – Groveport Chapel (587 Main St, Groveport, OH 43125). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
