He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Moore and Douglas Payne Sr.; his daughter Anissa Moore; and his siblings, Robert Moore, Darryl Payne, Delores Payne and Douglas Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Derek Bass Sr. (Jaquilla), Denise Walker, Roselyn Smith, Damon Bass, Ronnie Fletcher and Genise Tatum (Steven); and his close friends, Deacon Brown and Deacon Glover. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, several special nieces and nephews.
