She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Takos and Gladys Takos; her parents-in-law, Lourdes and Inigo Balivia Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Inigo Balivia Jr. and Dr. Crisostomo Reyes; and her grandson Sammy Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Balivia; her daughter Lucy Balivia (Matthew Simmons); her grandchildren, Lawrence "Mickey" Detty III (Kasey) and Camellia Sky Simmons; her siblings, Steve Takos Jr. (Dixie) and Vicki Wentzel (Jack); her sister-in-law Dr. Luzvaminda Reyes; her nieces and nephews, Amy Knapp, Andy Takos, Eric Weate, Pete Weate (Alison), Chuck Wentzel (Michelle), Jay Wentzel (Yun-Hee), Amy Reyes-Port (Theresa), Nina Keyes (Matt) and Chris Reyes (Tracy); her friends, Bobbi Schmidt and Shelley Mitchell; Katelyn Simmons and Iria Stover.
