He is survived by: his wife Pam Downing; his grandsons, Mason Matko and Brady Danklefsen of Avon, Ohio.; his in-laws, Patricia Matko, Daniel, Ruth Downing, Scott Downing, Zena Farah, Pat Downing and Dale Kohler; and his sibling's children, Deanna, Marcus, Max, Mitchel, Maya Weber, Mark, Janice, Kyle, Tyler, Mikayla Matko, Joshua, Sara (Woolsey), Isaac Downing, Christopher Downing, Erica, Aaron, Lydia, Connor Brown, Rose Farah-Downing, Jennifer, Josiah and Bennett Horn. He is also survived by cousins, friends, and neighbors.
He particularly enjoyed boxing with his Parkinson's group The SOBs (Shaky Ole Boxers), where he found many new friends.
