She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Janisch and Mary Janisch (Merz); and her sister Eileen Truesdale. She is survived by: her husband James Dempsey; her children, Deborah Rowe (Stephen) and Douglas Dempsey; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Cole (Hunter Womack), Riley Barnwell and Shaina Rowe; and her great grandchild Harper Womack.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio , who cared wonderfully for her in her last months, and St. Jude's, a charity she supported throughout her life.
