He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Mary Allwein. He is survived by: his siblings, Romaine Kern (Donald), Marion Bleistine, Joan Fetter (Charles) and William Allwein (Sally); and his sons, Steven, Gary (Christina), Michael, Christopher (Elisabeth), Timothy (Meg) and Andrew (Kate). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.
