He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances and Frank; his former wife Pauline Graves; and his siblings, Mary, Joe, Dick, Fred and Bea.

He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Mike Schaefer (Teri), Tim Pierce (Betsy), Kim Brown, Margie Gyde (Tom), Pat Pierce (Diana) and Heidi Miller; and his sisters, Shirley Gallagher and Francie Tallarico (Ralph). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and their spouses; 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church, German Village, the Wesley Ridge Community or a charity of your choice.
