She was predeceased by: her parents, D. W. Sr. Capers and Lola Bell Capers; her brothers, Henry Capers and D. W. Capers, Jr.; her grandparents, Annie Harris and Henry Harris; and her siblings' children, Danielle Capers, Crystal Capers, Raymond W. Smith III and Jimmy Holland Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Josette Brown (Shawn), Orenthal "OJ" Crawley (Lisa), Robert Crawley, Jr. and Damien Crawley; and her siblings, Alfred Capers (Dawn), Arthur Capers (Zanna), Barbara Capers, Bobby Capers, Albert Capers, Alberta Gibson (Tyrone) and Sandra Woolfork. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
