She is survived by: her children, Margaret Rader, Charles Plakaros (Debra) and Tracie Carpenter (Michael); her siblings, Donnis Raybuck, Della Steigerwald, Dallas Preece and Danny Preece; her grandchildren, Alissa Bridges (Joshua), Jennifer Plakaros, Jordan Maitlen (Cynthia), Jacob Meinert (Kaitlyn) and Gabriel Havice; and her great grandchildren, Hazel Maitlen and Lincoln Meinert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dorothy's memory to Nationwide Children's Hospital, Nightengale Cottage, in gratitude for the compassionate care she received there.
