He was predeceased by: his father Charles Taylor; his wife Vickie Taylor; his parent Gertude Morrisey; his grandparents, Englon Terry, Lillie Cook, Hulin and Janie Taylor; his nephew William "Tee" Taylor, Jr.; his aunt Phyllis (James); and his great-uncles, Henry Terry, Richard Terry and William "Billy" Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Lynda Ray (Marcus) of Columbus, Ohio, Michelle Pierce (Ayanna) of Columbus, Ohio and Christopher Covey (Lacey) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; his siblings, Lily Mathis of Lorain, Genise Fryson of Lorain, Charles E. Taylor, Jr. of Lorain, William T. Taylor of Lorain and Anthony T. Taylor of Lima; his grandsons, Marcus Ray II, Malik Ray, Marquis Ray, Kaleb Covey and Noah Pierce; his aunts and uncles, Eileen Mahoney, Linda Ewing of Elyria, Betty Bohannon of Georgia, Daud Abdur-Rasheed of Cleveland and Patrick Terry of Alaska; and his cousin Clenophus "Cleo" Bowens, Jr. of Columbus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
