He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Figgins and Alice Figgins; his brothers, Don Figgins (Jean) and Dick Figgins (Myrna); and his granddaughter Angela Sue McGill.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Morehead Figgins; his children, Heidi Figgins Tootle and Douglas Figgins (Devon); his grandchildren, Jamie McGill and Austin Tootle; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Daubmire (Dick) and David Morehead (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
