She was predeceased by: her father John Shipp; her grandparents, Charles, Beatrice Justice, John and Eddie Shipp; and her mother Barbara Ann Shipp Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Lynette Wilson (Darnell); her grandchildren, Taylor Pugh and Quincy Gilbert (Marilyn); her great grandchild Marley Pleasant; her siblings, Deborah Eiland, Brenda Shipp and John Shipp III (Sharon); her stepgrandchildren, Jamar Harris (Melissa), Morghyne Arrington (Demonte), Michael Burress and Darnell Wilson Jr.; and her great grandchild Taelyre Arrington. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
