He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd G. Jones and Dorothy I. Jones (Shaw); his brothers, Richard and Allen Jones; and his nephew Tyler Ragan.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones (Comerford); his children, Lloyd Jones, Richard Jones (Jessica Pursley), Michelle Kesterson, Shawn Jones (Laura) and Dawn Andrews (Mark); and his sisters, Georgia Murray (David) and Paulina House (Brian). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many lifelong close friends.
