Elsie Miller-Stuewe Obituary

We bid farewell to Elsie Miller-Stuewe (Columbus, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2024 at the age of 99. Elsie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh C. Hughes and Effie Hughes (Drake); her husbands, Roy Adams, Ned Miller and William Stuewe; her children, Ned Miller II (Donna) and Dana Miller (Lori); and her siblings, Hugh "Carl" Hughes Jr. (Bernice), Willis "Zeke" Hughes (Teresa), Harry Hughes (Emogene), Gertrude Hughes Rorabaugh (Al), Nettie "Lou" Hughes (Tex) and Herbert Hughes Sr. (Dorothy).

She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Scowden (Leonard), Charmaine Stewart (Steve) and Roberta Hughes (John); her stepchildren, Laurie Williams (Wayne), Janet Schott (Richie) and Donna Stuewe-Simmons; and her siblings, Jesse Hughes (Erika), Lawrence Hughes (Diane) and Elizabeth Hughes (Doyle). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, in her name.
