He is survived by: his children, Amy Dingess (Brian), Kenya Black, Arron Merritt (Nyisha) and Stacy Merritt (Myleka); and his sisters, Teresa Douglas-Fluellen (Anthony) and Stephanie Harris-Brooks (Barrett). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
