It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Bakies of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Mike Bakies (Betsy) and Tami Corbin (Doug); his grandparents, Jim, Judy O'Hare of Marion, Izaak, Sally Walton of Carey and James Thatcher of Angola, IN; his sisters, Haley Burgderfer (Shawn) and Britney Richmond (Cory) of Columbus; his stepsiblings, Lauren Moser (Greg) and Ryan Corbin (Amanda) of Findlay; his nieces, Ellie, Ruby Burgderfer, Braelynn and Harper Moser; and his pet Buckley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eric's memory to the Family Resource Center and/or Teddy's Rescue, both located in Findlay, Ohio.
