She was predeceased by: her husband Tommie; her parents, V. C. Laws and Esther Laws; and her sisters, Marianne Chandler, Virginia McCammon and Geneva Colston.
She is survived by: her son Wayne; and her brother V. C. Laws. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John A.M.E church.
