He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lumpkin, Sr. and Carrie Lumpkin. He is survived by: his wife Earnesteen Lumpkin; his children, Juan Lumpkin, Marcus Lumpkin (Michelle) and Shemika Lumpkin; his grandchildren, Danielle (Jhaunte), Marcus II, Marcella, Zachariah and Ivy; his great grandchildren, Aniyah, Carter, Chase and Melody; and his siblings, Albert, Robert, Craig, Derrick (Angela), Sharon, Teresa, Carla, Thomas (Ann), Paul, Woosie, Joe, Sarah, Dallie and Sammie.
