Evangelos Agganis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evangelos Agganis (Columbus, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stavros Agganis and Demetra Agganis; his brother Christos Agganis; his sister-in-law Eleni Agganis; his sister Athena Christopoulos; and his siblings-in-law, Christos Christopoulos, John Karalias, Michael Stefanidis, Costa Andronis, Stavroula Soulas and Athanasios Anemodouriotis.

He is survived by: his wife Eugenia; his children, Dimitra Agganis-Arakas, Angeliki Punwani (Lalit), Stavros Agganis (Georgia) and Constantina Agganis (Ryan Christian); his grandchildren, Stamati, Vagelli, Maria, Nikhil, Anand, Kavi, Evyenia, Constantina, Matthias and Evangelia; and his siblings, Constantino Agganis (Vasiliki Karalias), Maria Stefanidis (Christina Georgakopoulos), Eleni Andronis (Harry Agganis), Nick Soulas, Vasiliki Anemodourioti, John Souhleris (Anastasia) and Christo Souhleris (Christina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
