He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bowman and Genell Bowman (Guy); his brothers, Harold R. Bowman and Gary Bowman; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce and Eloise.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bowman; his children, Terry Bowman, Scott Bowman (Divinia), Heidi Niska (Albert) and Heather Coursen (Tyler); his brother Richard Bowman; and his sister-in-law Jane Dickson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
