It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Gleckler (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Gleckler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gleckler and Frieda Gleckler (Volschow). He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sons, Brian (Lindsey), Eric (Lara) and Matthew (Stephanie); his brother Robert Gleckler of Oak Harbor; his nephew Jack Gleckler; his siblings-in-law, Steven Curtis (Liz), Marilyn Ziegler (Mike), Donna Curtis and Sherry Schoonover; his grandchildren, Sabra, Kaylan, Elijah, Wil, Greyson and Connor; and his great grandchild Cayden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN.ORG / 877-272-6226) or Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (LUSTGARTEN.ORG) in support of research to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease. PANCAN donation envelopes will be available at the service, as well as a QR code for Lustgarten.
