It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Mac McCallister of Columbus, Ohio, born in South Williamson, Kentucky, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Tyler Mac McCallister; and his brother James Daniel McCallister. He is survived by: his wife Dreama McCallister; his children, Angel McCallister of Ohio, Kristen Varney of Ohio, Abigail McCallister of Ohio, Allison McCallister of Ohio, Logan McCallister of Ohio, Lucas Williams of Ohio and Matthew McCallister of Ohio; his parents, Harrison Moore and Marie McCallister; his grandchildren, Braylen and Ozilyn; his siblings, Donzel Jude (Tim), Britaney McCallister, Jessica Brown and Michael Brown (Evelyn); his parents-in-law, J. Andrew and Patricia Williams; and his sister-in-law Andrea Caracose. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
