He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Callahan and Helen V. Howell (Pittman); and his brothers, Bill and Tim Callahan. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Kusic; his children, Heather K. (Billy Gore), Melissa L. (Ed Solt) and Christopher D. Callahan (Amy); his granddaughters, Sarah and Katie Solt; his brother Dan Callahan; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Kusic, Johnny Kusic (Nancy) and Jane Kusic. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Short North Chapel (34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119).
