He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lape and Helen Lape; and his sisters, Kathy and Terri Lape. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Andrea Nelson (Joe), Erin O'Donovan (Aaron), Scott Lape (Amanda Locke), Whitney Lape and Lindsay Lape (Josh Medina); his grandchildren, Brianna, Lauren, Henry, Andrew, Hayli, Hannah and Nathan; his great grandchild True; his siblings, Peggy Lape, John (Becky), Jim (Heike), Tim, Pat and Marty Lape; and his pet Kiki. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in his memory to Capital City Hospice.
