He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Meyer and Edna Hinds Meyer; and his sisters, Juanita Dickerson and Jean Reese. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughter Amy Meyer Cochran (Jon); his grandsons, Allen and John Collins; his great grandchildren, Blake, Caleb, Gabe, Kyle, Darwin and Maxwell Collins; his niece Kerry Lehman; and his great-niece Nita Birdsong of Washington.
