George William Franey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George William Franey of Columbus, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Franey and Norma A. Franey; his brothers, John and Joseph Franey; and his stepdaughter Selena Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Miller; his son Gregory Franey (Holly); his grandchildren, Hillary Harr (Nick) and Devin Shinshock (Nicole); and his great grandchild Gianna Shinshock. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the Blendon Central Cemetery (6330 S Hempstead Rd, Westerville, OH 43081).
In lieu of flowers we would like donations to go to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
