He is survived by: his wife Monica Louise (Hodgson); his children, Steven Long, Chris Long (Margaret), Valerie Long, Laurie Gardner and Karen Van Steyn (Scott); his grandchildren, Alex Van Steyn, Katie Van Steyn, Violet Monagan, Trent Gardner (Nicole), Matt Gardner, Maxwell Monagan and Michael Long; and his siblings, Regis Long (Myrna), Esther Anne Flowers (Richard), Ruth Rhoades (Jack), Raymond Long (Pat), Alice Long and Dale Long (Adel).
