He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Rue and Margaret Rue; his sister-in-law Phyllis Rue; his nephew Steven Rue; and his brother-in-law Merlin Peterson (Barb Petty).
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Mangia (John) and Tony Rue (Alicia); his granddaughters, Priscilla Mangia (Brooks Artinger), Alexa Blosser Nick (Wilson) and Megan Bullock; his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Mason and Cameron Blosser; and his siblings, Gene Rue, Linda Peterson and Tim Rue (Patty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
